Boujemaa Bouaabad is a Moroccan-born photographer and filmmaker, and is a documentary & visual storyteller.
Growing up in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, since he was young, he was developed a deep connection to nature, and grew up with all its components, until his soul became filled with a passion for telling its stories. He found himself drawn to nature and traveling.
Since the age of 19, he has been focusing his efforts on exploring Morocco’s diverse cultures, faces & landscapes, capturing the moments of his travelling around. His visuals reflect the relation between people and their lands, and how every space has its own culture, this one who sees different things around the human in every story, especially in unknown and unspoken places.
He works with a range of clients, offering photography & creative filmmaking, and presents the soul of their stories they want to talk about, using his artistic and technical vision as a form of visual narrative, which he adopted through his study of cinema and the experience he accumulated during his years of learning, trying through all this to develop his own visual narrative.
